The government’s proposal to introduce road pricing will mean you having to purchase a tracking device for your car and paying a monthly bill to use it. The tracking device will cost about £200 and in a recent study by the BBC, the lowest monthly bill was £28 for a rural florist and £194 for a delivery driver. A non working Mum who used her car to take the kids to school paid £86 in one month. On top of this massive increase in tax you will be tracked. Somebody will know where you are at all times. They will also know how fast you have been going, so even if you accidentally creep over a speed limit in time you can expect a Notice of Intended Prosecution with your monthly bill.

totally dismayed at the prospect of road pricing. I am a pensioner on a limited income and also disabled with various health problems. without my car I would be confined to the house. It is one little pleasure left to go out for a drive and still able to do my own shopping. I have paid enough taxes over the years and still do.
what about disabled drivers, with blue badges.???????
what about my human rights, I should be able to go out when I want to. We are the highest taxed country in Europe.
I think this government is the worst I have encounted and I am 65 yrs old,in particular Blair and ambitious and meglomaniac Brown, I have been labour all my life and at the next election I will be voting BNP as that idiot Cameron is totally out of touch, and wants to line his own pockets,like most lying political representitives, Governments are a club ,thats all lets get England back to the indiginious people and look after our own …Pensioners etc. and about road pricing I think they that have instigated it should be put in the shafts of a horse and carriage and made to pull it.their not on this planet, a idiot out of a mental institution could do a better job, Blair has blood on his hands, in conclusion we are paying dearly for our Colonial Past Geoffrey Powell.
